The first photos are out! China released photos taken by Chinese Mars rover, Zhurong

On May 19, China National Space Administration (CNSA) released photos of the rover on Mars. The rover, Zhurong, landed on Mars on May 15. It landed around an area called Utopia Planitia, a vast terrain in the planet's northern hemisphere.

CNSA also released a few videos showing the lander separation from orbiter.

The successful landing marks the country’s first landing on another planet. China now also becomes the second nation in history to land a rover on Mars.
